I’m Mitch Dokis, and along with my wife, Kerry, we are the proud owners of Green Medicine.

I look forward to sharing our story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know us better.

We were passionate about helping individuals take control of their health, so we decided to study homeopathic medicine at the Homeopathic Academy of Niagara. Whether it be for a young child or an elder, we soon discovered that there is something for everyone.

So, after graduating in 2009, we started to teach homeopathy and set up a private practice called The Homeopathic Pair, in our house. Our three-pronged approach of promoting superfoods, tinctures, and tonics proved popular.

However, we wanted to reach out to more people, so in 2019 we opened our first storefront in North Bay, Ontario called Green Medicine. Along with selling health and wellness products, we began offering alternative medicine and started tackling acute cases in the store.

Over the past twelve months, we have made steady progress, and the more the word gets out, the more people we are able to help. We are also committed to stocking the most reliable products at affordable prices.

It has allowed us to expand and open satellite locations such as Andy’s Groceries and Mr. Fatz. However, while growth is essential, our community’s health and wellness will always be our priority when making business decisions.

As a consequence, we strive to run our business by the seven grandfather teachings. It includes humility: to live life selflessly, not selfishly. Brave: to be brave for ourselves and those who need it, especially in vulnerable times, such as a health crisis.

It also includes honesty: always be honest with our customers and clients. Wisdom: to use our inherent gifts wisely and live life by them. Truth: speak the truth even though it may be hard.

Besides, we value respect: always respect all walks of life, and treat others the way you would like others to treat you. Love: to know love is to know peace, to live in the light, and positively share that with others. These seven values have made us successful.

I also attribute our success to our excellent team that strives for fantastic customer service and brings positive energy to all who come to the store. Finally, we are grateful to everyone that has supported us on our journey, including family, friends, and clients.

It’s rewarding to help clients live healthier, energetic, and more resilient lifestyles. As a result, empowering individuals mentally, physically, and spiritually is close to our hearts, and it’s what keeps our drive alive.

When we’re not assisting clients with health remedies, we love to spend quality time with our son Maximus, as family means everything to us.

I have enjoyed sharing our story about the things which matter to us and how they influence the way we do business.

If you or someone you know could benefit from our expertise as the owners of a natural health store in North Bay, Ontario, I invite you to get in touch. Please visit our website at
